Our Objectives

The main objectives of the RAISE Project are as follows:

Facilitate Generational Partnerships: Establish collaborative partnerships between young farmers seeking land and aging farmers willing to share their resources and knowledge.

Provide Targeted Training: Develop and deliver training programs that enhance business management, cooperative structures, stakeholder engagement, and essential communication skills for both young and aging farmers.

Upskill Agricultural Advisors: Equip agricultural advisors and cooperative officers with the necessary skills to facilitate succession discussions and support intergenerational collaboration.

Encourage Legacy Planning: Promote a shift from traditional succession planning to legacy-building, enabling aging farmers to maintain a connection to their land while ensuring financial security.

Create a Digital Hub: Develop a centralised digital platform that offers training resources, e-learning modules, templates for collaborative farming, and practical guides on generational transition.

Monitor and Evaluate Impact: Establish metrics and indicators to assess the effectiveness of the project and its contribution to generational renewal in Irish agriculture.
